Ding Tea in Anaheim Hills has a fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and a large selection of teas, coffee drinks, slushes, and boba. The jasmine milk tea with boba was good, and the golden boba had a nice chewy texture. The drinks can be pretty sweet, so I would recommend ordering 30% or 50% sweetness with light ice. The prices are a little higher than some other places, but overall it’s a good spot for boba.

Absolutely too sweet! The first time, I ordered a fruit tea at 50% sweetness. It was like drinking pure sweet corn syrup. I tried to dilute it with water, and still way too sweet. Threw it away after 10 sips. 2 weeks later, I figured I’d try a second time. Ordered a slushy at 50% sweetness. Again way over the top sweet. I’ve been to other Ding Tea locations without this problem. The workers should try to taste some of their drinks so that they can adjust the sweetness in the future.

Haven’t been to a Ding Tea in a long time. There’s not many stores around OC anymore, so I was really shocked to find this location. Parking: Free parking lot. They’re located in a busy plaza. Finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with a decent amount of seating. It’s very casual and chill. There was consistent foot traffic of people coming in n out, but it wasn’t too busy for a Sunday. Service: You can either order at the register or order at the kiosk. We opted to order at the kiosk. Throughput was quick after ordering. We only waited under 5 min for all 5 drinks. Drinks: I noticed a few changes. For starters, the cups aren’t round anymore. They have standard cups. Their milk teas and coffee are as good as I remember. I tried the Hokkaido Coffee. It was very good and strong. Their classic milk teas tasted as expected, and the boba had a good texture. Pricing: Average priced for boba drinks.

Highly recommended!! Got the jasmine milk tea with boba and recommend it. I usually go with 30 or 50% sweetness and light ice. Their slushes are pretty good too. For sweetness, they ask if you want "Golden" or Regular Boba. The golden boba is good. It's golden in color, like brown sugar and a tiny bit chewier than regular boba but still easy to chew.

Bottom Line Up Front: Come to Ding Tea for a wide variety of boba and coffee … if you like ‘em sweet and don’t mind the premium prices. The Drinks: Ding Tea features such a large menu, ranging from fresh teas to Yakult drinks, that I have yet to try half of the beverages despite multiple visits. But this review will focus on what I got in my latest visit: Ube Viet Coffee and Hokkaido Milk Tea. I ordered the Ube Viet Coffee with half sweetness and coffee jelly and, wow, was it sugary. If this was half sweet, I’d be afraid the full sweet might make all my teeth fall out. OK, I joke, but it was so sweet that I wonder if the barista actually cut the sweetener by 50% or not. And I consider myself a "sweet tooth" kinda guy. Don’t get me wrong, the drink was good otherwise. It featured a strong Vietnamese coffee flavor and tasty Ube cream. Plus, the coffee jelly was perfect: a faint sweetness with a good java taste. My wife got the Hokkaido Milk Tea with regular boba, half sweetness, and oat milk. While I thought it was solid (despite me not normally ordering milk tea), she didn’t like it because it was also way too sugary for 50% sweet. She drank only a quarter of it and had me drink
